PAROLE PREPARATION
At least 12 months before your ERD, you should start preparing for parole. It's a long process that you should not delay.
COMMUTATIONS
The governor may grant you a pardon or reduce your sentence. This application can be submitted every two years.
PAROLE APPEALS
If you are not granted parole after your interview, your options are limited, but there are still options to pursue.
Parole and Commutation Consulting (PCC) is a consulting company located in Farmington Hills, Michigan. This company was founded by two women who have extensive experience with the criminal justice system and the Michigan Department of Corrections. Both of these women have very close family members and friends who have been and are still currently members of the Michigan Department of Corrections.
After both experiencing and seeing the difficulties and obstacles that life presents when a loved one is incarcerated, Channelle K. and Annette C. began PCC in an effort to give back to the community. Both women are very experienced in the incarceration process and the plight of helping others to understand their rights and abilities to be successful after serving a prison sentence.
Parole and Commutation Consulting will service all needs generated by inmates and their families, with specialization in helping individuals through the parole process, parole appeals or commutations.
In addition to the main three pillars of services, we will also consult with prisoners and families to help recently released individuals transition back into society. This may include, but is not limited to, any services they may need upon release such as finding housing, obtaining driver’s license, gaining employment, etc.
